Why You Need In-Person OSHA Certification Training

According to OSHA and ANSI, all employees and subcontractors must be certified to utilize this equipment. Currently, serious OSHA violations can carry fines up to $16,550 per violation, and willful or repeated violations can reach up to $165,514 per violation, depending on the size of the company. What many people do not realize is that the scope  of liability falls not only on the employer, but employees and subcontractors share a  personal liability as well.

From a safety standpoint, this machinery is very dangerous to operate, there are  approximately 30-40,000 deaths per year in the U.S. alone, and many more serious injuries  reported. Our practical training is far superior to online courses that do not offer hands-on  experience. Our knowledgeable safety instructor gives everyone the personal attention  that they need in order to understand the equipment and feel confident in operating it.

Companies that are interested only in eliminating liability are taking advantage of generic,  free on-line courses that simply require a login to a digital course. However, if safety is a  priority, then hands-on practical training is the only way to go. What sets us apart is that we  care about the health and well-being of you and your employees, and are genuinely  interested in making your job site a safer work environment. That is what we have done for  over 25 years, and we love what we do.

Our Certification Offerings

Please note that similar certifications can often be combined at no additional cost as long as they don’t require additional training time. All pricing is per-operator and based on the time commitment, training, and testing requirements. Please contact us to get a quote for your needs.

Forklift Certification

Motive Solutions qualified Instructors can certify your staff on-site, meaning more realistic  training and less downtime. Seatbelts, pedestrian safety, visibility, load stability and  maintenance are just a few key points highlighted in this training.

Aerial Lift Certification

Our Aerial Boom & Scissor Lift (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms – MEWP’s) Certification  can get your employees up to OSHA standards, improve workplace safety and prevent  product loss. We focus on load limits, overhead hazards, work zone safety and fall  protection in these classes.

Fall Protection

All fall protection products fit into four functional categories: fall arrest, positioning,  suspension and retrieval. We teach your employees proper techniques and use of  equipment in order to best protect themselves in the event of a fall.

Lock-out / Tag-out

Failure to control hazardous energy accounts for nearly 10% of serious accidents in many  industries. This is where proper maintenance and pre-shift inspections of the equipment  are crucial. Proper Lock-out / Tag-out practices and procedures safeguard workers from  hazardous energy releases.

Rough-terrain Telehandlers (Lull)

This is perhaps the most dangerous piece of equipment operated on jobsites. Excessive  loads, unstable terrain and operator error are just a few ways that a Telehandler can tip  and overturn. Proper safety training is imperative to avoid serious injury or fatality.

Electric Pallet Jacks

Used mainly in warehouses, pallet jacks look safe, but as with any piece of industrial  equipment, they come with certain hazards. Safety training is essential to prevent  accidents.

Why Choose Us?

Training employees in workplace safety is time and money well spent. At Motive Solutions,  we have seen firsthand that following workplace safety regulations significantly reduces  the risk of workplace accidents, injuries and fatalities. This also means increased  productivity and reduced turnover rates while also improving employee morale and job  satisfaction.

What our experience has shown is that the cost of accident prevention is significantly  lower than the cost of accidents, as it decreases workers’ compensation and medical  expenses and limits equipment damage and product loss. Above all else, it is our aim to  help employers create a safe work environment that will attract and retain qualified employees and maintain a positive reputation in their industry by making the welfare of  their employees a priority.
